I got one of the stinky ones, and boy does it smell horrible. I have tried washing the mattress several times according to the instructions in the manual but this smell is here to stay. It is a mix of chemicals and vomit. And it attaches to anything it comes in contact with - sheets, toys, blankets, your child. My daughter smelled so bad from laying on this mattress I had to give her a bath. Can you imagine what is in this thing that is causing such an odor? Can't be good for little babies to be around. I contacted Summer Infant and they sent me another mattress, but it had the same odor, I could smell it before I even opened the box.

You can take your chances, some apparently do not smell, but both of mine do. My suggestion would be to go to a store and open the box to smell it before you buy. Other than that I like this P&P. Yes, the changing table does tilt, but it hasn't been a huge issue. I like the caddy that comes on the side, very useful for storing stuff.

We set up this pack n' play in our bedroom for the first couple months of our son's life. I thought we would only really use it to place the baby down to sleep, but instead we ended up using the pack n' play as a replacement nursery. Which is goofy to think about considering our nursery is only a few steps from our room. However, those few extra steps saved really add up at night time. I *love* the changing table. The sides are very nice and high and unless your child is a magician I don't know how they would roll out of it in the months before they can sit up.

The music box is nice but the song option on it is very scant. There are 3 songs and 2 of them get cut off way too soon. The last song is a decent length but still not very long. We usually opted for the heart beat sound. The white noise was soothing for us all, lol.

The toy bar is not the most exciting thing in the world but my son adored the bumble bee on it and it was actually the first toy that he laughed at.

I suppose my only complaint is that it is very heavy and big. Unless you have wide doorways you won't be toting it around the house and unless you have strong arms you won't be toting it from relative's house to relative's house.

That said, during the time we had the pack n' play up, we made very good use of it and really appreciated having it around. I plan on using it for future babies :)
