I ordered the Amana WF401 Clean N Clear filter. I received a WaterSentinel filter instead. The filter claims to be a replacement for WF401, but it did not fit. I am returning it.
I am disappointed that I was sent an off-brand item.

I had to give this 1 star for the shady business practice of sending a different product than is advertised. I should have read the reviews, but I guess I was in a hurry that day. They advertise the Amana branded filter and charge you as advertised, but send you the much cheaper Water Sentinel WSA-1. It works, but can be found for half the price on Amazon. Definitely the first and last product I buy from Purenex.

Amana WF401S Clean N Clear Refrigerator Water Filter, 1-Pack

This is a great price for these refrigerator water filters. I checked all over town and couldn't find this particular filter at any store other than Sear's. It was less expensive here, and it was a real Amana filter for our Amana refrigerator, not a Kenmore or other brand. You can really save by buying three at a time.
