This crystal is more substantial than I had thought and boy, does it deliver! Right now, so many rainbows are dancing in my den! I hesitated buying it because I already have many crytals in my windows. This one is the "jewel in the crown!"

I bought this and 3 other Swarovski crystals for my wife for Christmas 2008. Being as "small" as this is I almost didn't buy it but this little guy out-performs even the big "50mm -2" Swarovski Spectra Feng Shui Crystal Ball 8551" here on Amazon. I bought it at the same time.
This little Sun Disc make s the brightest and clearest "rainbows" I have ever seen. I bought this, the 50mm Swarovski Ball, a 50MM SWAROVSKI SPECTRA CRYSTAL PEAR DROP 8721 and a 50mm Swarovski Strass Olive Twist Crystal Prism. All are very nice but if I had it to do all over I'd have just bought a handful of these Sun Discs. I hung them in the kitchen window, which get a lot of direct morning sun in the winter (when the trees have dropped their leaves) and when the sun hits them directly that whole end of house lights up in a spectacular, mesmerizing and breathtaking fashion. The display is so spectacular that it is almost a distraction and this little Sun Disc adds the most to the display by far.

Shipping was prompt. Packaging was great. I'm not sure that these surpass any of the crystal prisms, etc. that I already own, but they are nice. I have two of them on my front porch. I am going to try dual suspension points to steady these in the breeze. With just a single line and attachment, they spin so much in the lightest breeze that it's hard to enjoy the little rainbows going around at warp speed. Like other users have commented, my cats are fascinated by the rainbows but have given up trying to chase them because of the extreme speed. Will update review after trying to steady these crystals as mentioned above.
