The fan is neat looking and nice to operate. However it does not move air! Imagine a column of air from the tips of the blades to the floor. Thats about it, not much outside this area! Mine is being used in a small kitchen and it does nothing. I did send the HUNTER Co. an Email asking them about this poor performance no response.

This was a risky choice since it is so odd but we are enjoying it. It a nice quiet fan and the light is nice and bright. The only negative is the light quality is kind of cool.

The fan looks great, runs great and is a great conversation piece. The fan moves a lot of air and is very quiet at all speeds. The only problem with the fan is the remote. Remove the remote control receiver from inside the fan before you install. My wall switch has a control for the fan and a control for the light. The remote lasted about two days! The light is bright but not harsh and overpowering. I recommend the fan and love it but get rid of the remote. Mine is installed in a condo at the beach. The retracting blades are an attention grabber. Love the fan!
