I just put this shelf together and put all my DVD's on it and I think it's great! It was very easy to build. Some people in their reviews said it was top heavy, I don't have this problem at all. It hold all my DVD's (337 so far) and I still have room for more. I'm going to guess it will hold about 100 more. After building it and adding the shelves you do end up with a small section too small to fit movies in, you could put a bunch of CD's in the middle or maybe stack the DVD's horizontally. The item was a little smaller than I though it would be (the picture seems to make it taller than it really is) but I'm happy with my purchase and for that price & Free shipping, you can't beat it!

Kit went togeather easily and I am impressed with the amount of storage provided by the shelves. Only qualm with the product was that it came with three middle sections instead of two sides and two middle sections. Documentation provides the ability for replacement with part number but I turned the extra holes provided on the outward facing side into a peg board for hanging items on the side of the storage rack...I just feel sorry for the person that was provided three side pieces in their shipment ;)

I think this is a great product. Love how it looks in the living room and that the shelf heights can easily be changed - I use it to store DVDs, VHS, Blue-Ray discs and CD's. We did anchor it to the wall using the included hardware because we have a young child at home, but with that done, the case seems sturdy enough and was a good addition to help us stay organized. Other products were much more expensive but this one was a decent value.
