we remodeled our bathroom. i asked the tile person his preference between a shower door or shower curtain. he said that shower doors hide the beauty of the marble and also add an uncomfortable rail, whereas shower curtains can be drawn back to show off the beauty of the marble. on top of that, we selected a shower curtain that matches the color scheme of the bathroom. this shower rod not only matches all our hardware, it adds space to make the shower roomier. five stars.
installing was a little challenging, cutting it to the right size and angle.
the unit itself is great. my only beef is with the seller. they shipped the unit in the original packaging with extra packaging tape. the chrome was exposed, and left with packaging tape gunk all over it.

Purchased one rod based on reviews suggesting that installation was difficult. My husband (he is quite handy) had no difficulty putting it up, so I ordered the 2nd rod (it went up easily, too). Guests who use those showers appreciate the extra room, and I like the sleek look of the rods. We've not had them long, and have experienced no rust (reviewers of one Moen rod stated this was a problem).

This shower rod is made of quality materials and very easy to install. I bought two of these shower rods and I had to cut one to size, which was very easy to accomplish. It's so great to have additonal elbow room in the shower with new shaped rod. I would highly recommend this product.
